A 3-core PVC power cable is a common type of low-voltage power cable used for fixed electrical installations in residential, commercial, and light industrial environments. It is designed to deliver electrical energy safely and reliably to lighting circuits, socket outlets, small machinery, and general power distribution systems. The term “3-core” refers to the number of insulated conductors contained within the cable, while “PVC” indicates that polyvinyl chloride is used for insulation and often for the outer sheath.Each of the three cores typically consists of a copper conductor, chosen for its high electrical conductivity, mechanical flexibility, and long service life.
