  1. Material

  • Insulation Layer: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) is used as the insulation layer. XLPE has excellent temperature resistance and can maintain stable insulation performance in a relatively high-temperature environment. In addition, XLPE has good chemical stability and is not easily corroded by chemical substances, which can prolong the service life of the cable. (IV) Production Process

  1. Conductor Preparation: First, strictly screen aluminium raw materials to remove impurities to ensure the purity of aluminium. Then put the aluminium raw materials into a melting furnace for melting, control the melting temperature and time to completely melt the aluminium and remove gases and impurities. The molten aluminium liquid is made into aluminium rods through a casting and rolling process, and the diameter of the aluminium rods must meet the requirements of subsequent processing. Next, the aluminium rods are drawn into Aluminium Wires of the required diameter through a wire drawing machine. During the wire drawing process, control the drawing speed and tension to ensure the dimensional accuracy and surface quality of the aluminium wires. The molten XLPE material is uniformly extruded and coated on the outside of the aluminium conductor through a die under the pressure of the extruder to form an insulation layer. During the extrusion process, accurately control the extrusion temperature, extrusion speed, and die size to ensure that the insulation layer has a uniform thickness, a smooth surface, and is closely combined with the conductor without defects such as bubbles and wrinkles. The extruded Insulated Cores need to be cooled in a cooling water tank to quickly solidify and shape the insulation layer.

  1. Cabling: Strand four cores covered with insulation layers in the specified stranding direction and pitch for cabling. During cabling, to ensure the roundness and structural stability of the cable, filling materials, usually polypropylene ropes, may be added in the center. During the cabling process, control the tension of each core to make the core stranding uniform and tight, avoiding looseness or distortion. After cabling, a layer of non-woven fabric or other materials may be wrapped around the outside to enhance the structural stability of the cable.

  1. Sheath Extrusion (if any): If the cable is designed with a sheath, after cabling is completed, sheath extrusion is required. Add sheath materials (such as PVC) into another extruder, heat and melt them, then extrude and coat them on the outside of the cabled cores to form a sheath. The process requirements for sheath extrusion are similar to those for insulation layer extrusion. It is necessary to ensure that the sheath has a uniform thickness, a smooth surface, and is closely combined with the internal structure to protect the internal cores.

  1. Inspection and Testing: The finished cables need to undergo a series of strict inspection and testing. Appearance inspection mainly checks whether the surface of the cable is damaged, whether the insulation layer is uniform, and whether there are defects such as bubbles; dimensional inspection measures whether the outer diameter of the cable, insulation layer thickness, conductor diameter, etc., meet the standard requirements; electrical performance testing includes insulation resistance testing, withstand voltage testing, etc., to ensure that the insulation performance and electrical safety performance of the cable meet the standards; mechanical performance testing such as tensile strength and elongation at break tests the mechanical strength of the cable to meet the use requirements. Only cables that pass all inspection and testing can leave the factory.

II. General Product Information

(I) Packaging

  1. Packaging Materials: Cable reels are mainly used as packaging containers, and there are two types of cable reels: wooden and metal. Wooden cable reels have low cost and light weight but relatively weak load-bearing capacity, suitable for cables with small cross-sections and light weights; metal cable reels have strong load-bearing capacity and good durability, suitable for cables with large cross-sections and heavy weights. On the cable reels, the outer layer of the cable is wrapped with a layer of plastic film, which can play a role in moisture-proof and dust-proof, protecting the cable surface from pollution and damage. For some short-length cables, strong cartons can also be used for packaging. (II) Transportation

  1. Transportation Methods: Select appropriate transportation methods according to the transportation distance, the number of cables, and the traffic conditions at the customer's location. Road transportation is generally used for short-distance transportation, using trucks. Road transportation has high flexibility and can directly deliver cables to the customer's designated location, suitable for small-batch and urgent orders. For long-distance transportation, railway transportation or long-distance road transportation can be chosen. Railway transportation has a large transport volume, relatively low cost, and good stability, suitable for transporting large quantities of cables; long-distance road transportation can cover a wider range of areas and is more applicable to places where railway transportation is inconvenient.

  1. Transportation Precautions

  • Loading: When loading cables, use special hoisting equipment such as cranes and forklifts to avoid damage to cables or cable reels caused by manual handling. The cable reels should be placed stably in the carriage of the transport vehicle to ensure a stable center of gravity and prevent tilting or toppling. Leave a certain gap between multiple cable reels to avoid mutual collision and friction. For large cable reels, use steel wires or chains to fix them on the carriage, and the fixed points must be firm and reliable.

  • Protection: During transportation, take protective measures to prevent the cables from being exposed to direct sunlight, rain, snow, and high-temperature exposure. (III) Delivery

  1. Delivery Process

The transportation company arranges vehicles to pick up the goods.   • Delivery Notification: After the goods are shipped, customer service personnel will timely inform the customer of information such as the name of the transportation company, the license plate number of the transport vehicle, the waybill number, and the estimated arrival time, to facilitate the customer to track the logistics information of the goods and prepare for receipt.

  1. Delivery Time: For cables in stock, packaging and delivery will be completed within 1-3 working days after order confirmation. For cables that need to be produced, the production cycle depends on the cable specification and quantity, generally 7-15 working days, and delivery will be arranged within 1-2 working days after production is completed. In case of delivery delays due to special circumstances such as raw material shortages and equipment failures, customer service personnel will communicate with the customer in advance, explain the reasons, and negotiate a new delivery time.

(IV) Samples

  1. Sample Provision: If customers need to know the quality, appearance, and performance of the cables before purchasing, they can apply to the company for samples.   1. Sample Cost: The samples themselves are provided to customers free of charge, but the transportation cost of the samples is borne by the customer.
