First, in the manufacture of conductors, high-purity oxygen-free copper rods are drawn into Copper Wires of the required diameter through a wire drawing machine. During the wire drawing process, it is necessary to strictly control the drawing speed and mold precision to ensure the uniform diameter of the copper wires. The drawn copper wires need to be annealed. The copper wires are heated to a certain temperature (usually 300-500℃) and kept for a period of time to eliminate internal stress in the copper wires and improve their flexibility and conductivity. The wire with the extruded insulation layer is put into a cross-linking tube, and cross-linking reaction is carried out in a high-temperature and high-pressure nitrogen environment, so that XLPE molecules form a three-dimensional network structure, thereby improving the temperature resistance, mechanical strength and insulation performance of the insulation layer. For the PVC insulation layer, PVC particles are heated and melted, then extruded and coated on the surface of the conductor. The extrusion temperature is about 150-170℃, and it can be cooled and shaped after extrusion.
For wires with sheaths, after the extrusion of the insulation layer, the extrusion of the sheath is also required. The sheath material (such as PE or PVC) is added to the extruder, heated and melted, then extruded and coated on the outer layer of the insulation layer to form the sheath. During the extrusion process, the temperature, speed and pressure should be controlled to ensure uniform thickness, smooth surface of the sheath, and close combination with the insulation layer.
For armored wires, armoring treatment is carried out before or after the sheath extrusion. Steel tape armoring is to wrap the steel tape around the outer layer of the wire through an armoring machine, and steel wire armoring is to braid the steel wire on the outer layer of the wire. During the armoring process, the density and tension of wrapping or braiding should be controlled to ensure the firmness and protective performance of the armor layer.
During the production process, each process must undergo strict quality inspection, including the detection of conductor diameter, resistivity, tensile strength, insulation layer thickness, insulation resistance, voltage resistance performance, sheath thickness, tensile strength and other indicators. Finished wires also need to undergo multiple performance tests such as partial discharge test and aging test to ensure that the products meet relevant standards and technical requirements.

(1) Packaging

For long-length wires, they are usually wound on steel cable reels. The diameter of the cable reel depends on the specification and length of the wire. When loading and unloading the cable reel, special hoisting equipment, such as cranes and forklifts, must be used. The hoisting point should be selected at the lifting ring of the cable reel. Hoisting at the baffle or other parts is strictly prohibited to avoid damaging the cable reel and the wire. During the hoisting process, the cable reel should be kept stable to avoid violent shaking. During transportation, drivers should abide by traffic rules, drive smoothly, and avoid sudden braking, sharp turns and other operations to reduce the impact on the wire.

(3) Delivery

  1. Delivery time: After the customer confirms the order and makes payment, we will arrange delivery as soon as possible. For specifications and models in stock, they can usually be shipped within 1-3 working days; for customized specifications or large quantities of orders, the production cycle depends on the actual situation, usually 7-15 working days. We will communicate with the customer in advance to clarify the delivery time to ensure that the customer can reasonably arrange the subsequent construction or installation plan.
